Modernism Week is Coming!

The Capitis Group of Luxury Home Services is proud to help celebrate Modernism week in Palm Springs. The celebration is from February 12  – 21, 2010. Modernism week is an annual week long celebration that promotes awareness to the public of the mid-century modern design and architecture in Palm Springs homes and buildings. It celebrates the design, beauty and culture through a variety of charitable and educational events and mixers.

On Feb 11th Beau Monde Villas/Homes Run are hosting KCET at the Sinatra Twin Palms house to discuss famous architects, kicking off Modernism week.

On Feb 14-15th Beau Monde Villas and Homes Run is hosting THE FOOD NETWORK at the Sinatra house for a celebrity segment to be aired later this year.

On Feb 18th.  Beau Monde Villas and Homes Run together with the Preservation society are offering some of our Architecturally Significant properties for their Modernism group tours of between 150-200 people.

On Feb 21st. For the Modernism Society Directly we will be giving tours at Twin Palms for 100 people.  This is a gift to the society for all their great efforts in local preservation and awareness of our unique local architecture.
